Samsung tablet 

A few days ago, I bought Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (which has 10.5 inch display, 4GB RAM, 64 GB ROM) in a hurry, because the Amazon Great Indian Festi... offer (which gave 10, 000 rupees discount!) - selling it at ₹ 24000 - ₹ 10000 = ₹ 14000 (!) - made Me "mad" (metaphorically, of course), but after I bought it I noticed that it is a WiFi tablet and does not hold a sim. I wish I had a Samsung tablet (with 4GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, 10.5 inch display) WITH sim for a similar low price. Of course, WiFi tablets would be OK for perhaps 99% of all users, but I miss Anchor publishing facility (it is RIGHT that publishing podcasts and blog posts, too, I think, are not permitted if a sim is not inside; otherwise, there would be COMPLETE CHAOS because everybody could publish anything in anybody else's name). AT FIRST, I was dismayed because I could not download from Play Store the Easy Voice Recorder app on My new Samsung WiFi tablet but afterwards I was very glad to notice that "Easy Voice Recorder" app did get downloaded on My new Samsung WiFi tablet. Of course, I can easily post all My blog posts and publish all My Anchor podcasts on My smartphones. (It seems from Google that Nokia sells 4G tablet with 6GB RAM for Rs. 15,000 - but please check display size and ROM and if it is a smartphone or a tablet and also other details such as with sim or WiFi only. I bought Realme Pad about 9 months back; Realme Pad screen has a richer colour texture than My affordable Amazon-offered Samsung Tab A8 WiFi tablet, but My Nokia smartphone and Realme Pad/Tablet both seemed to have security issues - in My case, if not for any others - unlike Samsung; I gave them away (temporarily) to a very courteous poor Assamese youth and (also temporarily) to My innocent-looking Na. ass. sp. SLS (#?), respectively.) I also use My 7-inch iBall SLIDE 4G tablet. Nowadays, I use My LAVA LZG402 OM ("Proudly Indian") 4G smartphone (with 5 inch display, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM) - which I bought online from Amazon recently for Rs. 5,600 - for audio recording of passsges for My most recent ANCHOR PODCASTS #278 onwards. I prefer to use My cute 4-inch 4G LAVA Z40 smartphone, which I bought some years ago for about Rs. 3,500, when I go out (rarely), carrying it easily in My pocket, but I may instead carry My new 4G smartphone LAVA LZG402 OM with Me when I (rarely) go out. BOTH of My two LAVA smartphones have free Easy Voice Recorder Pro app pre-installed in them. My iBall speaker and My JVD speaker (which I bought for about Rs. 2,500 each) give very good clear sound and have volume control knob and tuning knob. Nowadays, I do audio recording (for Anchor podcasts) on My new LAVA smartphone, play it on one of My two SPEAKERS, and I can do Anchor app recording either on My Motorola smartphone or on My Samsung smartphone. A recent very annoying feature (for Me) is the FAKE STATISTICS page that first appears on Motorola smartphone nowadays, therefore henceforth I am planning to use Samsung smartphone for My Anchor podcasts. I use BOYA microphone which gives good quality recording. My collection of 4G smartphones (LAVA, Samsung, Motorola) and 4G tablets (Samsung, Realme) have a vast amount of total audio recording space - inexhaustible - for all My podcasting needs. One thing that puzzled Me recently is that Anchor podcast #283 to which I had given the Episode title PUGILIST (BOXER) was replaced by "..." when it got published by Anchor. (I had used the Anchor app on My Motorola smartphone.) This had never happened before. Was it an act of uncalled for "EDITING" by oversmart chameleon Norman Lewis alias Dr. Wilfred Funk (alias Sat.? Ambani/Nehru/Sw. V./BM Raja/HBS etc. is Satan). I can switch to other podcast apps if necessary. I am now thinking of also using another free Podcast.com app (Anchor.fm podcast app is also free) about which I learned today (October 2) from the clear explanation given in the YouTube video "How to Start a Podcast in India! (11:08) / The Creativist" (YouTube). The BOYA mic I use is different from BOYA mic described in some YouTube videos - My BOYA mic has a tiny mic with a clip and a very long wire that is connected to the cylinder-shaped metal body of BOYA. I bought it second hand for ₹1000 from the courteous Assamese youth I have described. As a memory aid mnemonic, I use the Barpeta/Nalbari (districts of lower Assam) Assamese word "boya" বয়া (= bad) to remember the name of the good mic "BOYA".

By 1974 an estimated 24 attempts had been made on Fidel Castro's life by political enemies. By 1978 the perhaps inflated estimate of 60 was mentioned by Castro himself.

One plot failed because the brunette agent sent to finish Castro off turned out to be in love with him and more likely to cook him a TV supper than kill him.

Badly aimed poison pellets did more damage to Cuban trees than Dutch Elm disease ever could. And, according to one story, an array of exploding seashells missed Castro by 40 minutes but fused all the traffic lights in downtown Havana.

THE WORST JUROR

There was a rape case at a Northern Crown Court in the late 1970s at which, according to a local crime reporter who covered the case, a juror fell fast asleep. Then the victim was asked to repeat what her attacker had said prior to the incident. Overcome with embarrassment, the girl was allowed to write it on paper.

This was then folded and passed along the jury. Each member in turn read and registered surprise on seeing words to the general effect that 'nothing in the whole history of sexual congress equals the comprehensive going-over which I intend vis a vis your good self'.

Sitting next to the dozing juror was an attractive blonde. After reading the note, she refolded it and nudged her neighbor who awoke with a start.

Attracted by the term ALTER EGO (other self, a very close friend) and also by the idea of a HORROR MOVIE, I watched the ALTER EGO "horror movie" on YouTube which however turned out to be a ridiculous joke with no story whatsoever and illogical scenes that make no sense. A guy taking pictures of young Japanese schoolgirls one by one - how is that a "horror movie"? The eyes of a girl do bulge out, a guy has epileptic fits, a girl wishes a fellow to die and the fellow falls dead on the road - these are ridiculous scenes which fail to create horror and look so stupid really. Many years ago, being impressed by WORD POWER MADE EASY and other vocabulary books by Norman Lewis, I sent him a very warm letter of praise, and called him My alter ego (a Latin expression I had learned from his wonderful book WORD POWER MADE EASY). I also sent a warm letter to Peter Funk praising his late father Dr. Wilfred Funk. I then knew nothing about pen names and ghost writers. Only a few days ago, I finally realized that Norman Lewis, Wilfred Funk, Peter Funk are pen names of top writer and top scientist Abel, a genius who has been reincarnating for billions of years like his genius brother Cain or Voltaire, both of whom have been watching and tracking down fucking SATAN and his fucking gang of male and female NAZIS continuously.

I was shocked that literary critic Professor Harold Bloom could be so incomprehensible. I am sure students who attended his lectures at Yale did not understand what the professor was talking about and either fell asleep or got a headache listening to the professor whose English suffered from "abstractitis", a very common disease of many empty "pundits" who try to show off by using very dull incomprehensible abstract language. Speaking and writing ABSTRACT language is very easy and very unpopular. Any FOOL can use abstract language. It is like the mathematical NONSENSE in lectures by "Fields medal" winners who are CHEATS.

I often feel like shedding Crocodile tears (idiom = घड़ियाली आंसू बहाना).

She worked at an institute preparing children to take CAT and MAT competitive exams (10:07 - 10:30). I did not know that MBA aspirants are children.

The titles of books she recommends cannot be read easily because the letters and words in the titles are inverted and look like mirror images. How do others who show books on YouTube solve this problem of inverted letters and words?* (As for Me, I found the books by Dale Carnegie that I bought very easy to read.) I knew about God being Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent, but I learned from this video that I am omniloquent.

I was very glad to learn from young Sunny (the son of a brother-in-law) just a few minutes ago that I can publish blog posts and podcasts and use YouTube library (requires a new gmail ID) on Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 WiFi tablet (10.5 inch display, 4GB RAM, 64 GB ROM) which I bought last month ONLINE from Amazon (Great Indian Festi .. offer) for only Rs. 14,000 at a fantastic discount of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. 24,000 - Rs. 10,000 = Rs. 14,000!) - a sim is not mandatory. 

I now use three tablets: REALME PAD, SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A8, iBall SLIDE, besides Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, LAVA smartphones, PC, and Mi smart TV.

Searching YouTube under Erle Stanley Gardner (creator of Perry Mason series), I found an interesting-looking title: THE CASE OF THE BEAUTIFUL BEGGAR which reminded Me at once of Indian CEO of Google, son of Ms. Lakshmi, Mr. Sundar Pichai (which means "Beautiful Beggar"), who called statesman U.S. President Donald Trump (who banned U.S. funding of international criminal organization of Nazi mass murderers W.H.O.) the most frequently searched idiot on Google. I searched YouTube for a book review or short summary of THE CASE OF THE BEAUTIFUL BEGGAR but found none. I searched Google for a summary but was disappointed to read a one or two sentence summary which told Me nothing. I started listening to the two lengthy two-hour-long audios on YouTube but gave up after listening for one or two minutes because I could not see the wood for the trees (idiom) - I had no idea what the hell the story was about. Then I finally met with success when I read several summaries in Goodreads. It seems to be about Uncle Horace (KrS), his half brother criminal BM KamMoSin, his criminal adopted daughter BM KuS, illegitimate daughter of criminal MGM and Sat/BM Raja T.N. A similar grim story is told in the Assamese mystery novel "জলছবি" which is a ghost-written story, I am certain, not a work by the purported author. Charles Lamb set a fine example on 10 December 1806 when he booed the premiere of his own play, 'Mr H'. Although he had packed the Drury Lane Theatre with his closest friends, they could not tolerate the work which purported to be a farce. Its sole humour centred upon the protagonist being called 'Hogsflesh' after a well-known cricketer. When 'the joke' came and went without laughter, a few gentle boos emanated from the stalls. These soon multiplied and from his seat in the front row, Lamb too gave way to hissing. The critic Crabb Robinson recollected that he 'was probably the loudest hisser in the house.'

Afterwards, Lamb said he agreed with the audience's verdict and started booing and hissing so they would not think he was the author. The management wanted to let the play run, but the playwright begged them to take it off.

THE WORST EVER MEMBER OF AN AUDIENCE 

The highest accolade in this category must go to Mr Adam Drummond for his behaviour at the opening night of Oliver Goldsmith's 'She Stoops To Conquer' on Monday 15 March, 1773. 

The manager of the Covent Garden Theatre had no confidence in the play. Only heavy pressure from Goldsmith's friends persuaded him to take the risk and stage it. This done, they had to ensure that it went well and took the unwise step of inviting [Adam] Drummond who was known throughout London for his loud and infectious laugh. 

However, the kindly [Adam] Drummond forewarned them that they would have to tell him when to laugh, since he no more knew the right moment than did a cannon when to fire. He was planted in an upper box next to the stage. The plan was that when Dr Johnson in the front row laughed, someone would prod [Adam] Drummond, setting off his infectious laugh and creating an air of general gaiety. 

Well, [Adam] Drummond laughed all right [laughed too much]. Before long the attention of the spectators was so engrossed by his person that the play became a quite secondary object. Goldsmith's friends told [Adam] Drummond that he might shut up now, but it was too late to rein the man in. 

Whereas before he laughed on instruction, he now fancied that he found a joke in almost everything that was said. When Lumpkin and Miss Neville started fondling each other, he roared. As the fourth act opened to find Miss Neville and Hastings standing by the fire, he wiped [Crocodile] tears from his eyes. Eventually, he was turned around to face away from the stage, but still continued laughing at no one knows what.

THE WORST SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL 

If you want to hold a Shakespeare festival you could not improve upon the celebrations held at Stratford in 1769 to mark the bicentenary of Shakespeare's birth. They were organized by the actor, David Garrick.

For a start the festival was held five years late and in the wrong month. 

But it does not stop there.

A torrential downpour flooded the fireworks and none of them lit. A wall collapsed in the Rotunda and stunned the main VIP, Lord Carlisle.

Then the river burst its banks while Mrs Baddeley sang 'Soft thou gently flowing Avon' in a tent. The triumphal procession was called off twice and at the fancy dress ball revellers danced minuets* up to their ankles in water. On the way out 150 of them fell into a ditch.

On the last day the festival fizzled out and everyone went to the races to celebrate Shakespeare's birth there.

IGNOU IS A JOKE 

I used to think that IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) - with millions of national and international students - has become very corrupt because IGNOU takes admission fees (a fine for late admission) for IGNOU courses but gives IGNOU study materials very late - about a month before IGNOU exams - after "verification" of information supplied by IGNOU applicants - to make sure admitted students would fail and seek re-admission, I thought. But after looking at it with sympathy and empathy, I now realize that this delaying tactics of IGNOU is a pathetic joke. Actually, despite the grand claim made by IGNOU, it seems that very few young and older potential students are interested in getting admission to open universities like IGNOU etc. The truth is that everybody wants a job by hook or by crook by cheating, money, political influence, s. (one job per lakhs of candidates taking fake competitive exams which are just for show, the "viva voce" marks used to select one out of lakhs and reject the remaining dejected lakhs) - so unless there are a sufficient number of new IGNOU applicants, cost of printing fresh copies of IGNOU study materials will be too much and it will be difficult to pay office staff and teaching staff of IGNOU - hence the delay - fresh copies of IGNOU study materials can be printed only after there are a sufficient number of fresh IGNOU students. Big publishers hype new books as "bestsellers" that have "sold millions of copies" - a pathetic heart-breaking strategy used by financially struggling big publishers for survival! Most people are non-intellectual and mainly interested in easy money and drugs and s. and having "fun" including "time pass" BF-GF "fun".

Imagine an American or a British BF/GF telling his/her temporary GF/BF: "I LOU YOU VERY MUCH, MY [TEMPORARY] GF/BF!"). *Perhaps "Manch" would be a better spelling because "Munch" may give the wrong impression of munching.

 YouTube tutorial videos are much better than TV tutorials which are exploited by Nazi criminal cheats to super spread evil Nazi lies about fake diseases etc.

An excellent institute in India which offers interesting courses for private learning is BRITISH INSTITUTES in Flora Fountain, Mumbai, which also sells interesting CDs for language learning  and recordings of Shakespeare's plays etc. (Linguaphone English-learning LP records I bought from British Institutes many years ago helped Me a lot.)

(I read the poem seriously many years ago when I was a young college student and the valuable warning conveyed through the poem was permanently stored in My subconscious mind and acted as a shield against all s.
